Whether for a birthday party or neighborhood get-together, these sessions reflect a crucial part of our mission to make skill building associated with growing food feel joyful and accessible. Group Guided Design
2.5 hrs | Beginner-Intermediate
This signature workshop makes designing your own sustainable garden less intimidating and more fun. An abbreviated version of the four-part guided design support series, you’ll gain the same kind of foundational knowledge to help you design a garden that serves both you and the natural world around you.

Native Planting with an HOA

Learn strategies to design gardens that support pollinators while meeting neighborhood guidelines.
Growing in Guilds

Learn about companion planting and how to design your own guild to promote garden health and resilience.
Garden Calendaring

Outline a seasonal garden plan so you always know when and what to plant, tend, and harvest.

Microgreens at Home

Plant a tray of microgreens to harvest at home.
Windowsill Herb Garden

Apartment dwellers can grow too! Plant a potted herb garden for any sunny windowsill.
Potted Tea Garden

Blend your own tea in a planter to take home.
Living Salad Bowl

Get a take-home bowl of cut-and-come-again salads.
Workshops are billed at $40/half-hour.
Additional cost for materials varies.
The base rate is equivalent with other in-person services, and there is no additional cost per person, up to eight people. The eight-person limit keeps engagement and feedback meaningful and ensures each person gets time to explore their ideas.

A one-hour online consultation ($70) is where we lay the groundwork. Everything grows from there.
